Core Privacy Commitment: SwordScript is an offline-first application. We do not require accounts, and we do not collect, track, store, or sell any personal user data.

1. On-Device Storage & Voice Processing

All your scripture lists, study history, profiles, and settings are saved exclusively on your local device. When using Voice Practice, spoken words are evaluated in real time on your device using built-in speech recognition; audio is never recorded, saved, or uploaded anywhere.

2. Bible Downloads & Third-Party Services

When you import new Bible translations, SwordScript sends standard network requests to public Bible text providers (such as the Bolls Life API).

3. Device Permissions

SwordScript requests only the essential device permissions needed for core functionality:

Microphone: Used only during active Voice Practice sessions to evaluate recitation.
Storage: Used only when you choose to save or restore a personal backup file.
Notifications: Used to display local daily study reminders scheduled directly on your device.

4. Data Control & Children's Privacy

Because all data remains on your device, you have full control. Clearing app data or uninstalling SwordScript permanently deletes all your stored lists and progress. SwordScript collects no personal information and is safe for users of all ages.
